Running Seasons
Run Spartanburg believes every season is a fresh chance to run, connect, and grow. Now in the Fall Season, our promoted seasons will include a plethora of tools to help you get faster and fit! Once you’re signed up for our personalized training plans, we design your training taking into account your current fitness, goals, and races that you want to compete in. As seasons progress, runners can use our personalized training plans to get fit, chase their personal records (PR), and compete in local races!
The Spartanburg Event Calendar provides several opportunities for you to assess your progress as the season continues! Here we promote all of the big races in the city of Spartanburg including the YMCA’s Boo Run 5K (October 25th) and Gobble Wobble 5K (November 22nd), so that you can continue to train, and compete!

Bigger, Faster, Stronger
Run Spartanburg’s seasons begin with a time trial, setting your baseline on Spartanburg’s tracks or trails. Following one of our tailored training plans, you’ll build speed and stamina for the select race of your choosing. Each season ends with another time trial, revealing how much faster you’ve gotten since day one. Racing in other Spartanburg events—guided by our plans—turns improvement into medals and personal bests. It’s a simple cycle: start slow, train smart, finish fast, and see your growth shine!
